We apply the proposed method to estimate the non-stationary triangle smoothing radius within the workflow of the following seismic data matching applications: non-stationary local signal-and-noise orthogonalization, non-stationary local slope estimation, and matching and merging high-resolution and low-resolution seismic images acquired over the same area.
